Social Studies Education (M.Ed.)

The M.Ed. major in Social Studies Education provides learning experiences for teachers who have been initially prepared in secondary social studies education. This program requires the completion of a professional portfolio in the area of Social Studies education.

Select Advanced Studies in Social Studies (15): With consent of their adviser, the students select coursework numbered 6000 or higher in the following areas: anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology, and sociology.
