The Conference on Literacy, Urban Issues, and Social Studies Education (CLUES) is hosted by the Language and Literacy / Social Studies Division at Georgia State University in cooperation with metro-Atlanta literacy and social studies educators. Formerly known as Georgia Read Write Now (GRWN), each year the conference focuses on the needs of urban educators as they work to improve their language arts and social studies instruction.

The one day conference includes keynote speakers, break out sessions, lunch, and a reception to honor exemplary educators and graduate students.
