The Reflection Papers are your opportunity to tell your instructor what your expectations are for the course and how much you feel you have grown. The Reflection Papers are yours and should reflect your opinions.

Initial Reflection Paper

Mid-Term Reflection Paper

Final Reflection Paper

Note: The Initial Reflection Paper may be handwritten. It should be 1-2 pages in length. Remember to place your name on the paper. At a minimum, be sure to address the following questions; you may also write beyond what is listed here if you have other thoughts (reactions, ideas, etc.) you would like to share....

1. What do you hope/expect to learn while you are in this course?
2. What level of experience do you have with using technology in the classroom?
3. What technologies or topics would you really miss if they were not covered in the course?
4. How should technology be used in the classroom?
5. Why should we use technology in the classroom?

Mid-Term Reflection Paper

The paper should be 1-2 pages in length, typed and double spaced. At a minimum, be sure to address the following questions; you may also write beyond what is listed here if you have other thoughts (reactions, ideas, etc.) you would like to share. The mid-term reflection paper should be completed prior to the 8th class meeting (October 10-16) and turned in to your instructor prior to class.

1. Have your expectations for what you hoped to learn in the course changed since you wrote your last Reflection Paper?

2. How much do you feel you have learned/grown in this course to date?

3. Do you feel you have gained a better understanding of how to tackle challenges?

4. What are you doing differently with technology than before you took the course?

Final Reflection Paper

The paper should be 1-2 pages in length, typed and double spaced. At a minimum, be sure to address the following questions; you may also write beyond what is listed here if you have other thoughts (reactions, ideas, etc.) you would like to share. The mid-term reflection paper should be completed prior to the 15th class meeting (December 4-7) and turned in to your instructor prior to class.

1. How prepared do you feel to enter the classroom and use technology in a lesson?
2. What might help you to put what you've learned in this class to use in the classroom?
3. What impact will the level of technology resources in your future school of employment have on your teaching?
4. In your opinion, can technology help teaching and learning?
5. How do you plan to keep up with changes in technology as your move through your teaching career?
