I-MAST: Impacting Metro-Atlanta Science Teaching
This Robert Noyce program funded Scholarship is designed to encourage science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors and professionals to become K-12 teachers of mathematics and science. I-MAST provides stipends for undergraduate STEM majors and post-baccalaureates holding STEM degrees who commit to teach in high-need K-12 schools.
UMEP: Urban Mathematics Educator Program
The Robert Noyce: Urban Mathematics Educator Program (UMEP): This scholarship is designed to increase the number of high-quality secondary mathematics teachers who are willing to teach and remain in urban school districts. UMEP provides $10,000 stipends to students to pursue initial certification for secondary mathematics teaching through a Master's Degree program known as TEEMS at Georgia State University.
