A nonprofit organization made up primarily of teachers of English, reading, and literacy at all levels.
Purpose:
To improve the teaching and learning of English and language arts in Georgia's elementary, middle and secondary schools and colleges and universities.
Membership: Teachers of English and supporters. $7.50 for new members.
Publications: Quarterly newsletter – Scribbles and Bits; and a journal – Connections
Primary Activities: Annual conferences, workshops and professional development seminars.
