Social Studies Planning Project

Complete a 36-week planning guide on one of the following QCC courses. When creating your planning guide indicate the dates, unit topics, and specific lesson titles. Also, correlate the QCCs for your course with the lesson titles. Your course should meet ALL QCC objectives. The QCC courses are listed below. Information on the courses is available on the QCC web site at http://www.glc.k12.ga.us

This project is due June 17. You may submit electronically, in class, or in my office - College of Education room, 674.

Project requirements

1. Complete a 36-week planning guide on one of the QCC courses listed below. When creating your planning guide indicate the dates, unit topics, and specific lesson titles also correlate the QCCs for your course with the lessons. Your course should meet ALL QCC objectives.
2. Complete a two-page rationale for your course design. This rationale should be double spaced and typed. Include a defense of the unit structure and of the lesson topic selection. Indicate how (whether it be topically, chronologically, etc.) and why you structured the course in the manner in which you selected.
