Creating simple
web pages using word processors
Most history and
social studies teachers are dependent on textbook publishers for content
related materials. These materials are never adequate. Often, teachers
will supplement the textbook and related materials with additional resources.
Technology offers teachers opportunities to find, organize and share
content materials in a more efficient and meaningful manner.
The easiest way
to create web pages is using a word processor. The process is very simple,
just create your document and save as a web page. These pages can be
posted on the Web to facilitate the use of online instructional materials.
